Replacement Dwelling
Concept Design
The practice was asked to develop design proposals for a new build dwelling to be located on the North Yorkshire coast, looking directly out to the North Sea.
The design response was concerned with how a new dwelling on the site would provide spaces of privacy and intimacy in a very public location, and also how the building would provide both exposure to, and enclosure from, the beautiful and raw North Sea coastline.
